Implement the banner using a Script Tag

Note: If you use Google Tag Manager on your site, either to implement Google Analytics or otherwise, it is recommended that you use our Google Tag Manager method instead.

1. Choose "Get Embed Code" for your domain in the portal.

2. Choose "Copy to Clipboard"

3. Place the copied code at the top of the head section of your site. You should paste it as high up as you can, above any 3rd party scripts, javascript files or stylesheets.

WARNING - It is very important that the CookieScan script is the first, above ALL other 3rd party scripts. If it is not above another 3rd party script, CookieScan will not detect the cookies used by the 3rd party plug-in above it and you will be in danger of being non-compliant with the law.
